近日,我实验室博士研究生王海丽同学关于波致混合参数化第一部分的研究成果已经在SCI期刊Atmosphere发表。该论文题目为“Parameterization of Wave-Induced Mixing Using the Large Eddy Simulation (LES) (I)”,该文的通讯作者是王海丽同学的博士指导导师董昌明教授,其博士合作指导导师自然资源部第一海洋研究所杨永增研究员和山东科技大学海洋科学与工程学院高晓倩博士为合作者。
Recently, OMOL’s doctoral student, Haili Wang, published an SCI article entitled Parameterization of Wave-Induced mixing Using the Large Eddy Simulation (LES) (I) in the journal Atmosphere, featuring Haili’s doctoral supervisor, Changming Dong, as the corresponding author, researcher Yongzeng Yang in the First Institute of Oceanography at the (China) Ministry of Natural Resources and Xiaoqian Gao of the Shandong University of Science and Technology College of Ocean Science and Engineering as research partners.
该论文的研究内容为使用大涡模拟的方法研究波致混合,主要研究波浪诱导产生的朗缪尔环流和波浪破碎对混合的影响,并且检验不同波浪参数与风速条件下波浪对混合的影响。
This article features the usage of Large Eddy Simulations to investigate wave-induced mixing, principally looking at the effect of wave-generated Langmuir turbulence and wave breaking on mixing, in addition to experimenting the effect of different wave parameters and wind speed conditions on wave mixing.

At certain depths, Langmuir turbulence can create stripes in the ocean where sinking velocities are greater than rising velocities.

Wave breaking can generate small-scale turbulence,weakening the effect of Langmuir circulation near the sea surface. Langmuir circulation affects mixing to a greater depth than wave breaking.
